READ THOROUGHLY AND KEEP HANDY!

THE POLICIES OF CHACE DANCE COMPANY WERE DESIGNED TO PROMOTE AN ORGANIZED, PROFESSIONAL STUDIO AND TO CREATE A POSITIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUR CHILD. BY FOLLOWING THESE POLICIES, YOU WILL HELP CREATE THE BEST DANCE EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE. THE INSTRUCTORS AT CDC ARE PROFESSIONALS AND TAKE DANCE VERY SERIOUSLY. BY FOLLOWING THESE POLICIES, YOU HELP YOUR CHILD TO EXCEL AT THE FINE ART OF DANCE.

STUDIO MANAGERS (WHEN TO CONTACT)

TAMRA CHACE IS THE DIRECTOR, AND CAN BE CONTACTED VIA EMAIL IN REGARDS TO ANYTHING ABOUT CLASSES OR THE STUDIO. PLEASE ALLOW 24-48 HOURS FOR A RESPONSE. PLEASE CONSIDER NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS WHEN TEXTING IF REQUIRES IMMEDIATE ATTENTION (407)361-8569.

DRESSCODE

DRESS CODE IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES. IF A STUDENT IS NOT PROPERLY DRESSED THEY WILL RECEIVE A WARNING, AND SECOND TIME THEY WILL BE ASKED TO SIT OUT AND WATCH CLASS.

INSURANCE

CHACE DANCE COMPANY DOES NOT CARRY MEDICAL INSURANCE FOR ITS STUDENTS. IT IS REQUIRED THAT ALL DANCE STUDENTS BE COVERED BY THEIR FAMILY INSURANCE POLICIES AND IF INJURY OCCURS IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE STUDENTS OWN POLICY IS YOUR ONLY SOURCE OF REIMBURSEMENT. (PLEASE SIGN LIABILITY WAIVER TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION). BY ENROLLING WITH CHACE DANCE COMPANY YOU ARE IN AGREEMENT YOU CHILD IS DANCING AT THEIR OWN RISK AND CHACE DANCE COMPANY IS IN NO MEANS HELD LIABLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS.

HOLIDAYS

THE STUDIO WILL FOLLOW ORANGE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS AS FAR AS CLOSING FOR HOLIDAYS. PLEASE SEE LIST OF IMPORTANT DATES FOR THESE EXACT DATES. CLOSED FOR SPRING BREAK, THANKSGIVING, TWO WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS, AND ALL OF JUNE & JULY, OPERATING FOR CLASSES 40 WEEKS OF THE YEAR.

ATTENDANCE & TARDINESS

IF A STUDENT IS MORE THAN 10 MINUTES LATE THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE, AS THIS CAUSES TOO MUCH OF A DISTRACTION, AND WILL NOT BE WARMED UP PROPERLY TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS THAT DAY. GOOD ATTENDANCE IS IMPERATIVE, AS ABSENCES CAN REALLY HOLD A CLASS BACK! IF YOU HAVE MISSED MORE THAN 3 OF THE SAME CLASS THREE MONTHS BEFORE RECITAL YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PERFORM IN THE SHOW. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND EVERY CLASS. IF YOU ARE INJURED YOU MUST STILL ATTEND YOUR CLASS AND WATCH. MISSED CLASSES MAY NOT BE DEDUCTED FROM TUITION PAYMENTS, CREDITED TOWARDS ACCOUNTS, OR REFUNDED. THIS IS A SUBSCRIPTION POLICY STUDIO. A MAKEUP CLASS IS OPTIONAL AND RECOMMENDED. MAKE-UP POLICY

IF YOU ARE RUNNING A FEVER, SICK, OR HAVE INEXCUSABLE FAMILY EVENTS IN WHICH YOU MISS A CLASS, STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO TAKE A MAKE-UP CLASS. (NO EXTRA CHARGE). PLEASE email THE DIRECTOR INFORMING THEM OF THE CHANGE AND CONFIRM IF THERE IS ENOUGH SPACE IN THE CLASS YOU WISH TO MAKE UP.

WITHDRAWING FROM THE PROGRAM

SHOULD YOU DECIDE FOR ANY REASON TO WITHDRAW YOUR DANCER FROM THE PROGRAM, YOU WILL NEED TO DO SO IN WRITTEN FORM VIA EMAIL TO THE DIRECTOR. PARENT MUST ALSO GIVE 30 DAYS NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL, IF YOU ARE WITHDRAWING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MONTH THERE WILL BE NO REFUND GIVEN. UPON YOUR WITHDRAWAL REQUEST YOUR CLASS SPOT WILL BE OFFERED TO THE WAITLIST ASAP. IF YOU DECIDE TO COME BACK, YOU WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE WAITLIST TO RESUME YOUR SPOT.

DROPPING OFF- PICKING UP DANCERS

PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO DROP OFF THEIR CHILD FOR DANCE CLASS. PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN MAY WISH TO STAY ON THE PREMISES. PLEASE WAIT IN THE LOBBY, YOUR CARS, OR WALK AROUND. WE MUST KEEP THE HALLWAY CLEAR AND OPEN AT ALL TIMES! PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SIT IN ON CLASSES, OR LINGER IN THE HALLWAYS.

LOBBY ETIQUETTE

THIS IS NOT A DAYCARE OR BABYSITTING FACILITY, IF YOU HAVE YOUNGER CHILDREN PLEASE KEEP THE NOISE LEVEL TO A MINIMUM AND RESPECT THE SURROUNDINGS. WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A NICE RELAXING WAIT AREA FOR PARENTS AND SHOW RESPECT FOR THE FACILITY. OUR LOBBY IS TINY- PLEASE WAIT IN CAR IF POSSIBLE.

PRIVATE LESSONS

PRIVATE LESSONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR BOOKINGS NOW AND MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE IN THE PARENT PORTAL. CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE OR YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING FOR THAT HOUR. THERE WILL BE NO CREDITS, REFUNDS, OR EXCHANGES FOR MISSED LESSONS.

COMMUNICATING WITH INSTRUCTORS

WE WORK HARD TO KEEP YOU INFORMED BY EMAIL, FACEBOOK, AND TEXT MESSAGES. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE FB GROUP, AND PARENT PORTAL BULLETIN BOARD FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ON UPCOMING EVENTS PLEASE REFRAIN FROM ASKING TEACHERS BETWEEN CLASSES, THIS IS NOT AN IDEAL TIME TO CHAT ABOUT THOSE DETAILS AND WILL MOST LIKELY BE FORGOTTEN. THERE IS TO BE NO COMMUNICATION REGARDING LESSONS, SHOWS, OR STUDIO INFORMATION TO FACULTY MEMBERS, CONTACT THE DIRECTOR WITH ANY CONCERNS.

ANNUAL SHOWCASE

DRESS REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCE WILL TAKE PLACE IN APRIL OR MAY (EXACT DATE TBA) THIS YEAR. DRESS REHEARSAL IS MANDATORY FOR ANYONE WANTING TO PERFORM, IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE DRESS REHEARSAL YOU CANNOT PERFORM!! ACCOUNT BALANCES MUST BE PAID IN FULL TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SHOWCASE. THERE WILL BE AWARDS GIVEN AT THE SHOWCASE TO SELECT DANCERS, NOT EVERYONE WILL BE AWARDED. REVIEW THE SHOWCASE INFORMATION FOR MORE DETAILS, INCLUDING PARTICIPATE FEES, AND COSTUME FEES.

PAYMENT PROCESS

PAYMENTS ARE MADE IN THE PARENT PORTAL OR CASH/CHECK. TUITION IS POSTED ON THE 1ST OF EVERY MONTH AND DUE BY THE 5TH OF EVERY MONTH. IT IS REQUIRED OF ALL FAMILIES TO HAVE CARD ON FILE IN THE PORTAL. AUTOPAY WILL RUN ON THE 5TH OF EVERY MONTH FROM AUGUST-MAY. TO AVOID YOUR CARD BEING RUN BY THE STUDIO YOU MUST LOG IN AND MAKE PAYMENT BEFORE THE 5TH. YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR THE ABOVE-MENTIONED HOLIDAYS, AND ALL MERCHANT TRANSACTION FEES ARE ABSORBED BY THE STUDIO, AT NO EXTRA COST TO PARENTS.

TUITION IS BASED ON A 40 WEEK DANCE YEAR. PAYMENTS ARE BROKEN UP INTO 10 MONTHLY PAYMENTS FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR FULL MONTHLY TUITION FROM AUG 1ST-MAY 1ST. TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND IS PAID TO SAVE YOUR CHILD'S PLACE IN THE CLASS. IF YOUR CHILD HAS DECIDED TO STOP

ATTENDING CLASS YOU MUST GIVE THE STUDIO WRITTEN EMAIL NOTICE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF LEAVING.

AUTOMATIC DEBIT DECLINED CARDS

IT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL FAMILIES TO HAVE A CARD ON FILE. PLEASE REVIEW THE PAYMENT PROCESS FOR TUITION DUE DATES. IF YOUR CARD HAS BEEN DECLINE YOU WILL INCUR A $20 FEE. PLEASE MAKE SURE CARDS ARE UP TO DATE.



REGISTRATION

ALL CLASS REGISTRATION IS DONE ONLINE IN THE PARENT PORTAL, AND ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. THIS OFFERS PARENTS THE CONVENIENCE OF ACCESSING THEIR ACCOUNTS 24/7. YOU MAY CHOOSE FOR YOUR AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS TO COME OUT OF YOUR CHECKING OR CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT. THERE ARE NO ‘CONVENIENCE FEES’ YOU CAN GO TO https://dancestudio-pro.com/online/chacedancecompany

PARENT PORTAL

THE PARENT PORTAL ALLOWS YOU TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES, UPDATE ACCOUNT INFO, CHANGE CLASSES, LOOK AT UPDATED ANNOUNCEMENTS IN THE BULLETIN BOARD, CONTRACTS, STUDIO POLICIES, AND MORE. YOU CAN ACCESS YOUR PARENT PORTAL AT THE LINK ABOVE. PLEASE BOOKMARK THIS WEBSITE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.

YOUR SIGNATURE BELOW CONFIRMS YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO ALL OF THE ABOVE INFORMATION, TUITION RESPONSIBILITIES, AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOU MUST SIGN AND RETURN TO THE DIRECTOR IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM AND HAVE COMPLETED YOUR REGISTRATION.
