Having your child receive the foundation this studio has to offer is the best start you can give them!– Amy Kreger, Chace Dance Parent
How Chace Dance Studio Got Started
Tamra Chace landed in South Africa, and realized so many kids were craving a chance to dance, to learn, grow, and flourish with a solid dance program.
Tamra first moved to South Africa after a prosperous performance career, to be with her husband and family. She first opened Chace Dance Company as a professional contemporary company offering corporate entertainment, and full length professional productions. This was a great channel for professional dancers in Johannesburg and Pretoria.
One dance lesson led to another
She then fell in love with some local kids in the neighborhood, who asked her to teach them a few ballet steps. One lesson led to another, and what started with three girls in a car garage- grew to a full school in Hartbeespoort Dam, South Africa. Offering high-quality technical training for both recreational and competitive students.
Unfortunately, the way they felt South Africa was turning - it was time to head stateside, now growing a new studio here in Lake Nona and St. Cloud, Florida.
Our studio today
Chace Dance Company has only been open for 2 years, and growing by the day! What sets them apart? High quality over quantity. Parents state, "if you want your child to actually learn something, this is the place to be," says dance mom Chanry Erbich. At our studio, you can really see the growth and progression of your dancer. There is also a big focus on community and feeling a part of something here, relationships are at the core of our being, and Chace Dance thrives on that.
